Parts of a Flower
Flowers are the reproductive part of plants.
Most flowers have four main parts: stamen, pistil, petals, and sepals.
Stamen is the male parts of the flower. It is made up of the anther and filament.
Pistil is the female parts of the flower. It is made up of three parts: stigma, style and ovary. The ovary contains ovule.
Petal attract pollinators such as birds and insects.
Sepal protect the flower bud.
After flowers are pollinated and fertilized, the ovule develops into a seed, and the ovary develops into a fruit.
